IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) shared a video of Virat Kohli on its social media platform earlier today on Thursday, March 10. The former RCB skipper Virat Kohli shared a message to his fans about the upcoming IPL. But the fans have to wait for the next video to hear his message as the video was cut short.

The RCB franchise has changed its logo across all social media platforms. They released the video called RCB Unbox where the above message of Kohli was shared. They ‘will reveal their new jersey on March 12 at Church Street in Bengaluru. But Kohli, who is also in Bengaluru, will be with the bio-secure Indian team and will miss the event. They will be playing the match against Sri Lanka, which also begins on March 12 at the Chinnaswami Stadium.

Last year, Kohli announced his resignation from RCB captaincy after the 2021 IPL. However, as per the reports, the franchise is yet to accept his resignation. RCB issued a statement on Twitter last year where Kohli said, “This will be my last IPL as captain of RCB. I’ll continue to be an RCB player till my last IPL game. I thank all the RCB fans for believing in me and supporting me.” Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik are the contenders for the new captaincy.
In a duration of 65 days, 70 matches will be played in the league phase. All matches will be played in Pune and Mumbai due to Covid reasons. The 15th edition will kick-start on March 2 with the opening match between Chennai Super Kings taking on Kolkata Knight Riders. RCB will play their first match against Punjab Kings on March 27 in Navi Mumbai.
