[WATCH]: Ishan Kishan gets cleaned up by Marcus Stoinis, shows his frustration on boundary cushions

In the match between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants, Ishan Kishan, who had scored 13 off 27 balls with two fours, was sent back to the pavilion by Marcus Stoinis in the second ball of the 6th over.
Stoinis strikes in his first over with a length-ball. Ishan Kishan gets an inside edge and the ball hits the stumps. Ishan Kishan looked angry with himself as he walks back and showed his frustrations on the boundary cushions.
In the second over, Mumbai Indians’ another opener and skipper Rohit Sharma failed once again to score much. After the fall of wickets of the top-order, the middle-order was once again got the responsibilities to maintain bring MI back to a comfortable score.
As expected Dewald Brevis played a brilliant knock of 31 off 13 balls but his lost he wicket to Avesh Khan. Suryakumar Yadav walked in to save the Men in Blue but after scoring 37 off 27, Avesh Khan dismissed him. Kieron Pollard and Tilak Varma couldn’t do much and so Mumbai Indians were only restricted to 181. They lost the match by 18 runs, making this their six successive defeats.

Former Australia all-rounder and current Delhi Capitals assistant coach Shane Watson has slammed MI for spending a massive sum of 15 crores on Ishan Kishan at the mega-auction.
“It hasn’t surprised me that Mumbai Indians are at the bottom of the table because they had a shocking auction,” said Shane Watson during a conversation in ‘The Grade Cricketer’ podcast.
“Spending so much money on Ishan Kishan…He is a very talented and skillful player, but he’s not worth blowing nearly your whole salary on.”
“And then, going for Jofra Archer, not knowing whether he is going to come back in. He hasn’t played cricket for quite a while. They have got quite a few holes in the team.”
