Jarvo invades the pitch again during the 4th Test; bumps into Jonny Bairstow while trying to ball

Team India’s die-hard fan Jarvo has now become a constant on the match field during the ongoing five-match series between India and England. Jarvo again grabbed all the headlines as he invaded the match field for the third time. India are up against England in the fourth Test match of the five-match series at the Kennington Oval in London.

On the second day of the Test, there was a temporary halt in the game during the 34th point. Unsurprisingly, it was Jarvo who caused the delay by sneaking into the pitch again. As Umesh Yadav was preparing to ball the third delivery of the 34th over, Jarvo breached the security and came running towards the pitch with the ball in his hand.

The crazy cricket fan completed his run-up but crashed with England’s Jonny Bairstow who was standing at the non-striker’s end. Though Jarvo was soon escorted out of the stadium, the entire episode left the cricket fraternity in stitches.

Meanwhile, Jarvo’s third invasion in the pitch has also raised questions over the security of the players and other officials. The cricket fan attracted attention for the first time during the Lord’s Test when he came to the field wearing the Indian jersey. The Leeds Test also saw somewhat similar visuals as the Indian team fan came to bat on the field by wearing the batting gear when Rohit Sharma lost his wicket in the third innings.

As a consequence of his actions, the Englishman has been banned by the Yorkshire Cricket Club and the Kennington Oval’s authorities are also expected to take the same action. As far as the match is concerned, both India and England have delivered exceptional bowling performances. At the time of writing, England is reeling at 172 for six with Ollie Pope and Moeen Ali in the middle.
