Tendulkar is without a doubt the greatest ever cricketer to have played the game. Unquestionably, he is a role model for Indian and well as international cricketers. He has so many records to his name that it’s impossible to reach the milestone he has created.

The 48-year-old had made his debut in 1989 and played for 24 years before saying adieu to cricket in 2013. He has record of highest Test and ODI runs. Also, he is the only cricketer to score 100 international hundreds.

When the match between the PBKS and MI was over and every player started walking back to the dugout while exchanging handshakes. Jonty Rhodes, who is four years older than Tendulkar, caught Tendulkar off guard and bowed down to touch his feet. But Tendulkar pushed him aside to help him get up and then the two greats embraced each other with a warm hug.

Just like Jonty Rhodes, many cricketers have done the same to show respect to the Master Blaster in the past. From Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh to Vinod Kambli, all have a huge admiration for Tendulkar and have respect him with the same gesture in many occasions. Since 2009, Rhodes had been fielding coach of the Mumbai Indians. But in 2020, he joined Punjab Kings.

Meanwhile, the defeat of Mumbai Indians is their fifth one consecutively. They failed to chase a target of 199 runs against the PBKS. Before PBKS, the fife-time champions slumped down against Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Currently, they are at the bottom of the points table with zero points.
