Jordan Hermann is a South African cricketer who plays for the Warriors in domestic cricket. He has represented South Africa’s Under-19 team as well. He is a left-handed batter who mostly comes to bat in the middle orders.

Despite his not having enough experience in the domestic circuit, he has played impactful innings for his teams. His stats will prove why he can be one of those middle-order batters who add stability to the innings, as well as steer the team’s total toward a commanding one.

Hermann set down his name for the auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season. He signed up for a base price of INR 20 lakh. He went unsold at the SA20 auction but will represent the Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC) franchise in the upcoming SA20 league in 2023. Sunrisers have signed him as their Wildcard. The youngster hasn’t got much experience but he has the ability to swing his bat for biggies. In only eight first-class matches, he amassed 750 runs. He has already slammed two centuries and five half-centuries.

An unbeaten 187 runs were his career best in the format. His debut in first-class matches came for the Titans against the Warriors at Centurion in October 2021. With 10 fours, Hermann scored his maiden century in his debut match (he was the high-scorer for his team in the first innings). He scored another half-century in the second innings also.

Hermann even whacked a half-century in his maiden List A match against North West at Potchefstroom on December 2, 2022. He has played just seven List-A matches so far and accumulated 297 runs. With a ton and two half-centuries, Hermann has reached the 150-run mark as well, which is the most he has scored in List-A cricket.

Talking about his T20 career in domestic cricket, Hermann scored two half-centuries in the six matches he played so far. He has amassed 186 runs at a strike rate of 116.25. His highest score is an unbeaten 67 runs.
