IPL 2022: Jos Buttler hilariously reacts to Yuzvendra Chahal’s ‘will open with Buttler’ post
Yuzvendra Chahal, who is known for his hilarious sense of humour, once again did something that gave a laughter dose to fans, even surprised England’s star cricketer Jos Buttler.
The 31-year-old Chahal has played 114 matches and snatched 139 wickets in the cash-rich league. He was released by the Royal Challengers Bangalore and signed by Rajasthan Royals for a sum of Rs. 6.25 crore.
Chahal hacked Rajasthan Royal’s official Twitter handle on Wednesday and kept posting ridiculous tweets. RR, being the most active team on social media, gave permission to Chahal to handle their Twitter for a day. He fooled and stunned the fans by declaring himself as the new captain of RR, replacing Sanju Samson. Even poked fun at veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin about his whereabouts, but one of his posts became an instant hit among their fans.
The Tweet was that about Chahal opening alongside Buttler for the RR franchise, if, the same tweet gets retweeted 10000 times. “10000 retweets and he will open with Jos Buttler uncle,” the tweet said. You can see the tweet below.
RR posted another video of Buttler reacting to the post. Buttler just shook his head after reading the tweet.

Fun banter between the Jos Buttler, Ravi Ashwin & Yuzi Chahal
Buttler, who was retained by the franchise, joined the RR team earlier this week ahead of the IPL 2022. He is expected to play some good cricket for the one-time champion because of being of the key players of RR and an important member over the years. The new players of RR are now pulling his legs including Ashwin and Chahal. Ashwin had even messaged him about Mankading.
The ‘Men in Pink’ will open their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 29. They had failed to make the playoffs since 2018. This year, with better players in the likes of Chahal, Ashwin, Trent Boult and Devdutt Padikkal, they will be looking to win their second title this year. They have won their first trophy in the inaugural season of IPL in 2018 under the captaincy of Shane Warne.
