KL Rahul, the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants, presented new jerseys to his teammates ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The LSG players are currently hard at work in Mumbai, getting ready for the upcoming season. KL Rahul left Punjab Kings at the end of the IPL 2021 season and joined the new franchise LSG as captain before the mega auction last month.

KL Rahul presented jerseys to his teammates during a team event ahead of Lucknow Super Giants debut season. The Lucknow franchise teased fans with videos on their official Instagram handle’s stories. You can watch the story here.

Mark Wood will miss the IPL 2022 due to an injury sustained during the Test series against the West Indies. This season, he will be replaced in the squad by Australian quick Andrew Tye.

Lucknow Super Giants IPL 2022 season begins on March 28

For the 2022 edition of the IPL, the Lucknow Super Giants are in Group B with the Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

The KL Rahul-led team will face Gujarat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium on March 28 to kick off their IPL 2022 campaign.
