IPL 2022: [Watch]-Kuldip Yadav of the Rajasthan Royals touches Sachin Tendulkar’s feet
Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar, a former India and Mumbai Indians batter, is widely regarded as the God of Cricket. He is the world’s leading run-scorer and has scored 100 centuries, which are truly divine numbers. As a sign of respect and honour, Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Kuldip Yadav touched the Master Blaster’s feet when they met. Prior to their match, the Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians met for a practise session in which players and coaches from both teams interacted with one another.
Several videos showed RR coach Kumar Sangakkara and Lasith Malinga talking with their counterparts Mahela Jaywardhene and Shane Bond. In one of many such videos, young Rajasthan Royals bowlers pose for photos with Sachin Tendulkar. Kuldip Yadav, a left-arm fast bowler from Delhi, was one such player. When Yadav was given the opportunity to sit next to Sachin Tendulkar, he bent down and touched his feet. The Master Blaster then posed for a photograph with the 25-year-old.
The video was posted on the Mumbai Indians’twitter page with the caption, “A dream for many…a reality for a fortunate few! ?????? ????????? is someone who will always transcend teams & rivalries #OneFamily #DilKholKe #MumbaiIndians @sachin_rt MI TV.”
This is not the first time a cricketer has tried touching Sachin Tendulkar’s feet. Former India all-rounder and Player of the Tournament in the 2011 ICC World Cup, Yuvraj Singh also did something in 2016 when he completed his 100th IPL match.

“Sachin Tendulkar & Rahul Dravid used to tire me all day,” says Shoaib Akhtar, revealing one of the primary reasons for his retirement.
Shoaib Akhtar, a former Pakistan fast bowler and cricket expert, was widely regarded as one of the most dangerous bowlers of his generation. Over the years, he used to send shivers down the spines of a number of batters and was frequently a threat to the opposition.
The 46-year-old, on the other hand, has always admired Indian legends such as Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid. Akhtar recently revealed that the duo’s ability to wear down the speedster used to irritate him.
While previewing the IPL 2022 encounter between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on ‘SK Match ki Baat’, he revealed one of the main reasons he called it quits from the game. Akhtar said:
“One of the main reasons for my retirement was that I am not able to wake up early anymore. I have been waking up at 6 am for the past 25 years. And then to bowl to the likes of Sachin and Dravid, they used to tire me all day. So this was one of the main reasons for my retirement – that I can’t wake up early.”
