Nandre Burger is a South African bowling all-rounder who plays for the West Province in domestic cricket. He earned his call to represent the national team in a T20I series against Pakistan on January 21. But he hasn’t received his cap yet.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction, the Proteas has signed up for a base price of INR 20 lakh. The all-rounder can get the chance to provide his services to the Joburg Super Kings (JSK) team in the inaugural edition of SA20 in 2023. He got sold to JSK for INR 175K.

In the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge (2017-18), Burger ended the tournament with the most number of scalps (19) from seven matches. He was also the leading wicket-taker in the Africa T20 Cup in 2018. His 11 wickets from six matches helped Gauteng win the tournament.

Talking about his bowling stats in domestic circuit, Nandre Burger has played 37 first-class matches, and bagged a total of 110 wickets at an impressive economy of 3.09. He completed his five-wicket haul thrice in the same format. His first-class debut came for the Gauteng against South West at Oudtshoorn in February, 2006. His 9/145 is his best figures in first-class matches.

He debuted for the same team against North West in the List A matches at Potchefstroom on February 26, 2017. In total, he has scalps off 31 matches at an economy of 5.08. He has only one four-wicket haul in List A cricket.

He has bowled at an economy of 7.09 in T20 cricket. With the best figures of 3/11, Burger scalped 46 wickets in 36 matches. His T20 debut came for the Gauteng team against South West at Oudtshoorn on February 14, 2016.
