The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday (9 August) announced the revised schedule for the 2023 ODI World Cup. With that, ICC also issued guidelines for how to buy tickets for the event. The ICC has informed that cricket fans can start registering themselves on the website from 15 August. Meanwhile, the ticket sales will start from 25 August but for non-India games. 

For India’s matches, ticket sales will start from 30 August in a phased manner. “To manage the expected demand for tickets and to give as many fans as possible the best chance of seeing the world’s best players, tickets will go on sale in phases,” the ICC wrote in their release.

The tickets for India’s warmup games in Guwahati and Trivandrum will go live on 30 August while bookings for India’s opening match against Australia will open on 31 August. The tickets for India vs Afghanistan and India vs Bangladesh will also be live from 31 August.

How to buy tickets for 2023 ODI World Cup?

To buy 2023 ODI World Cup tickets, fans will have to get themselves registered on the ICC website. After the ticket for a particular match is made live, fans can get a hold of them on a first come first served basis. 

The tickets for India vs Pakistan in Ahmedabad will go on sale on 3 September. Meanwhile, the tickets for India vs New Zealand, India vs England, and India vs Sri Lanka will be live from 1 September. 

The tickets for India vs South Africa and India vs Netherlands will be available on the ICC website from 2 September. The tickets for the final and semifinals will be available from 15 September.
