“Itne paise hain inke paas toh apni economy mein invest karo,” Aakash Chopra stated on Twitter. As expected, Chopra was agitated by the situation and called on the country to manage its resources better. While there were also many who called out the former Indian batsman for being salty after India’s defeat against Australia in the World Test Championship.

The Indian cricket team has been at the forefront of the sport for quite some time now. The team managed to play in back-to-back WTC finals but lost both of them. Aakash Chopra has been dejected after the brutal defeat and took to Twitter to share his remorse.

The Indian team recently changed their test captain from Virat Kohli to Rohit Sharma. Unfortunately, the results were the same and India lost to Australia by a hefty 209 runs.

“There isn’t a trophy that is not in Australia’s cabinet. And if we talk about us, since 2013, it’s just – Dil ke armaan aansuon mein beh gaye [Our hopes were swept away in our tears],” Aakash Chopra stated on his Youtube channel.

Aakash Chopra criticized the team for their batting and believes there is lots of potential in the star-studded team. India has not won the WTC final for a long time now. The trophy drought still continues for India with the ICC World Cup right around the corner. The Indian cricket team will need to bounce back stronger than ever to challenge for the iconic ICC ODI trophy.
