Ajinkya Rahane to become a father again; wife Radhika shares cute pictures

Indian batting veteran and former Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane will become a father for the second time. Rahane’s wife Radhika Dhopavkar has shared a picture on Instagram to announce that the second child will join the family in October this year.
In 2019, Radhika and Ajinkya had welcomed their first child, a daughter whom they named Aarya. Eariler today, Radhika shared her picture with Ajinkya and daugter Arya to announce the news. Even Indian skipper Rohit Sharma‘s wife Ritika Sajdeh responded to it. The family were congratulated and blessed.

Ajinkya Rahane thanks NCA staff while undergoing rehab from an injury
Ajinkya Rahane was last seen in action with team India in South Africa in a Test series earlier this year. He had a poor outing in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League 2022 where he represented Kolkata Knight Riders. He scored just 133 runs from seven matches.
After that, he sustained an injury in the final game of the season and was ruled out for the rest of the tournament. Rahane, who led India to a sensational win at the Gabba Test in Australia, then went to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore for his rehab.
“That (injury0 was really unfortunate. But my rehab is going really well. I am recovering really well. I was in Bangalore (at the NCA) for nearly 10 days and I am going there again for my rehab and recovery. It’s been on track. So right now my only foucs is on getting better. Get fit as soon as possible and be on the field. I am not sure (when) I will be able to get (fully) fit, it is expected to be around 6-8 weeks but at this moment it is about taking one day at a time, one week at a time,” he had said in June.
