Apple CEO Tim Cook spotted in stands during DC vs KKR, pictures go viral

The 28th match of IPL 2023, between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had a special guest in attendance. American multinational technology company, Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Tim Cook was spotted in the stands of the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Cook was spotted in the stands alongside Bollywood Actress Sonam Kapoor, IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla and some DC officials.

Notably, Cook is in India on a business tour. As Apple opened its first-ever retail store in India in Mumbai earlier this week, Cook was physically present at the place. The Apple CEO then visited Delhi for the opening of the second store in Saket.

After completing his duty as the Apple CEO, Cook took a moment to visit the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi for the IPL match between DC and KKR. With one of the world’s leading businessmen watching an IPL game from the stands, fans went ga-ga on social media.

Delhi choke KKR!

Now coming to the match between DC and KKR, the hosts choked the Nitish Rana-led team as KKR were bowled out for 127. Although Jason Roy scored a 39-ball 43, KKR middle order failed big time as the team kept losing wickets at regular intervals. For DC, Ishant Sharma, Anrich Nortje, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav bagged two wickets each while Mukesh Kumar bagged the solitary wicket of Litton Das.

However, Andre Russel’s flair at the end (38* off 31) helped KKR reach a respectable total in the end.
