Asia Cup 2022 is soon going to start from August 27 where India will start its campaign the next day by playing against Pakistan. Sri Lanka will be the host but the venues will be in UAE. Dubai and Sharjah will be the two venues that will host the matches. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are the five confirmed teams. Hong Kong, UAE, Singapore, and Kuwait have battled against each other to qualify for the sixth spot and Hong Kong have qualified. India have clinched the most trophies (7) and is also the defending champions. Since T20 World Cup will be going to take place later this year, this year’s Asia Cup will be played in T20 format.
