Ahead of the electrifying clash between India and Pakistan, former India captain Virat Kohli has got a new haircut. He shared a picture on his Instagram story of the new hair-cut.
Kohli will be seen in action after a month’s break when Rohit Sharma‘s Men in Blue will take on Babar Azam‘s Pakistan. Fans are anticipating when Kohli’s form will return.
As Virat Kohli was suffering from poor form for quite a long time, he revealed in a chat with Star Sports about how he felt during that time. He said he wasn’t excited to train and practice and that disturned him because this isn’t him. So he stepped away from the environment. Stepping away helped him see things differently.
“I was experiencing that I’m not excited to train, I wasn’t excited to practice and that really disturbed me because this is not who I am and I literally need to step away from that environment,” Kohli said in an exclusive chat with Star Sports.
“When you are part of an environment, you don’t see these things. But it’s when you step away that you notice that this is happening,” he explained.

“This has been an amazing break”- Virat Kohli
He then went on to add how the one-month break did to him. After the Indian Premier League in 2022, he played multi-format series in England where he couldn’t even reach the three-figure mark across the formats. He then took the break and went on to miss the West Indies and Zimbabwe series.
“Okay, this is what I need to do and this has been an amazing break. I never had this long break and the first thing I realised that I woke up in the morning and was excited to go to gym, which isn’t a thing like ‘oh I have to keep up with this’ so that was my first mark,” he said about his sabbatical.
