Asia Cup 2022: WATCH- Virat Kohli departs on DUCK as Dilshan Madushanka shatters stumps during IND vs SL

India is locking horns with Sri Lanka on Tuesday, September 6 at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai, UAE. India received a huge blwo by losing the wicket of Virat Kohli on duck.

Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka had won the toss and opted to field first. India had already lost the wicket of KL Rahul (six runs off seven balls) in the second over. When Kohli entered the crease, he played four balls and in the third over, Dilshan Madushanka bowled a fullish delivery that swung into middle. Kohli went for the big heave across the line but missed.

It was a bad shot from the 33-year-old and the ball shatterd the stumps to the surprise of Kohli. The Sri Lankan players were all pumped up from the India’s loss, knowing perfectly the value of that wicket.
