Fans all over the country are super excited for their beloved MS Dhoni’s birthday and have gone all out to celebrate the occasion. India’s former World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni will celebrate his 42nd birthday on 7th July 2023. It is not the first time that his fans have gone the extra mile to showcase their love and adoration for MSD and left everyone amazed.
Fans have uniquely celebrated MS Dhoni by putting up massive cut-outs of him. People in Hyderabad revealed a 52-feet cutout of the former India captain in the CSK training jersey; while in Nandigama, Andhra Pradesh a humungous 77 feet cut-out of the cricketer was unfurled where he had donned the Indian jersey. The 77 feet cut-out is one the biggest tributes in size that the former Indian skipper has ever received.
Fans on Twitter have already started celebrating Dhoni’s birthday as well. With common Twitter DPs and trending ‘Happy Birthday MS Dhoni‘ hashtags, online celebrations are also underway. Fans are impatiently awaiting a glimpse of Mahi on his birthday.

Words fall short to describe the significant difference MS Dhoni has made to the world of cricket. The current CSK skipper is currently enjoying his time off after leading the Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title. Dhoni led India to victory in the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy and remains the only captain ever to win three ICC trophies.
MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August 2020 but continues to play in the IPL and is likely to return in 2024 as well. While Dhoni is known to stay away from social media, it will be interesting to see how the Ranchi-born cricketer celebrates his 42nd birthday and give a return gift to his fans.
