Delhi’s game against CSK will most likely not be moved since only a new bowler tested positive and was sent to isolation immediately. Earlier, Delhi’s games had been moved from Pune to Mumbai to avoid the spread of Covid during the first round of positive cases. A similar action could be taken for the remaining 4 games of the Delhi Capitals.

Rishabh Pant led Delhi currently sits 5th on the points table. With 5 wins and as many losses, the Capitals are at a very crucial stage in the league. They must win at least 3 of their remaining games to have a fighting chance to qualify for the playoffs. However, with RCB, SRH and Punjab Kings also in the mix, a win is absolutely necessary for Delhi.
