Cricket lovers’ crazy actions only portray how this game is connected with so many emotions. And if the match is between the fierce arch-rivals of the game, India and Pakistan, it’s not an exaggeration to say cricket fans across the world wait for this match to happen, because as it’s already known, an India versus Pakistan match only happens once in a blue moon.
Maybe that’s the reason why this clash is hyped so much. And as most cricket lovers in India want to experience watching the two neighbors locking horns with each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, some of them started booking hospital beds because of skyrocketing hotel prices in Ahmedabad.
Due to the high demand, the hotels in Ahmedabad started charging around Rs 50,000 just for one night. India will be locking horns with Pakistan on October 15th in Ahmedabad.
Fans are asking for a full-body check-up and overnight stays in the hospital for India vs Pakistan match
To deal with the high hotel prices, fans went to the hospitals for a full body check-up and an overnight stay. This would help them to get their health checkups done as well as will fulfill their major wish of watching the match in the stadium without spending much on the hotels.
“Since it’s a hospital, they are asking for a full-body check-up and an overnight stay so both of their purposes are fulfilled, saving money on lodging and getting their health checks done,” Dr. Paras Shah, director of Sannidhya Multi Specialty in Bhopal was quoted as saying by Sportiger.
Meanwhile, India will be hosting the 2023 ODI World Cup and the first match will be played in Ahmedabad between England and New Zealand. India will open their campaign on October 8 against Australia in Chennai.
