Cricket Scotland is in hot water, as an independent report has shown that the administrative body has a sexist culture. This report comes two years after another independent report showed that CS was also institutionally racist.
The McKinney report, a 35-page report formed by a HR firm, showed that the board has a high-degree of prejudice towards their female employees. They had interviewed many employees of the board, which showed terrible behavior to their female employees.
The HR firm put in nine recommendations for the board to follow, so that they could improve their workplace culture. Some of them include moves like improving the women’s game, educating their employees regarding sexism and creating a workplace where everyone feels comfortable working.
In 2022, a report showed that the CS was institutionally racist, with 448 instances of racist incidents, which caused a meltdown. The entire board resigned and since then, they have had two presidents and two heads.

Lindblade has confirmed that CS now will open a disciplinary and complaints process, and has asked everyone to open up about the prejudice they have faced. She also said she now wanted to form a transparent board.
