CSK bowler Deepak Chahar and Fiancee Jaya Bharadwaj to tie the knot on June 1; MS Dhoni expected to attend ceremony

Deepak Chahar who proposed to Jaya Bharadwaj after CSK’s last match of the league season last year are set to get married on June 1. The pictures of Chahar’s marriage invitation went viral on social media. Chahar had planned to propose to Jaya in one of the play-off games but skipper, MS Dhoni convinced him to take out the ring sooner. The CSK captain is also expected to be present at the wedding.
Deepak Chahar was bought back by Chennai Super Kings for a whopping 14 crores this year. However, Chahar failed to play a single match for the Super Kings due to a back injury he suffered before the tournament at the National Cricket Academy, Bangalore. Chahar has played 63 games for the Chennai Super Kings, picking up 59 wickets and helping them win the tournament twice.

Deepak Chahar likely to remain on the sidelines for 2 more months
Since sustaining a back injury back earlier this year, Deepak Chahar is likely to remain off the field for 2 more months. The pacer has been pivotal for Chennai Super Kings and also for India when called upon. The fast bowler has packed up 26 wickets in 20 T20 international for India and will hoping to bet back in full fitness before the World T20 this year.
The tournament is scheduled to begin in October and will be held at the home of the defending champions, Australia. Owing the Australia’s fast pitches, Chahar would definitely be an addition to the side with Bumrah, Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Youngsters like Umran Malik, Mohsin Khan could also be given a chance given their exploits in IPL this year.
