After a video published by Star Sports before the semifinal match between India and New Zealand went viral, rumors of Dua Lipa performing at the closing ceremony of the 2023 ODI World Cup at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium started spreading. In that video, the Albanian singer, who was promoting her new song ‘Houdini’ answered questions asked by some cricketers, including one question about which song she would like to perform at the closing ceremony.

The ‘One Kiss’ singer did not confirm she would perform on Sunday in that video. But it was Star Sports’ caption that hogged the attention of the fans.
