Many celebrities were present in the Narendra Modi Stadium to attend the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup Finals.

Movies and cricket are probably the 2 biggest things followed by Indians. The two are considered like religion and are celebrated throughout the year. Many times the two have a crossover and the same can be seen during the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup final, with movie stars and present to watch the biggest match of the year. 

Movie stars, musicians and even politicians were present at the Narendra Modi Stadium to watch the finals between India and Australia on Sunday (November 19). Probably 2 of the biggest Indian actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajnikant, were present.

Along with them, legendary singer Asha Bhosle was present. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ayushman Khurrana, Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan, Daggupati Venkatesh and Prakash Padukone attended. The wives of cricketers Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, Anushka Sharma and Athiya Shetty, are also in the stadium. 

The Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah, along with Chief Ministers of 8 states were in the stadium. The Indian and Australian Prime Ministers, Narendra Modi and Anthony Albanese, are also guests but they haven’t arrived yet. 

Shah Rukh Khan wins heart after sweet gesture for Asha Bhosle 

In the VIP area, Shah Rukh Khan and Asha Bhosle were sitting next to each other. While in conversation with the Secretary of the BCCI, Jay Shah, Khan noticed the veteran singer finished her cup of tea and wanted to send it back to the hospitality. Khan saw the empty cup and took it from her, walking all the way back to the AC area to hand it to them.

India have started a fight back in the final. Scoring only 240 runs in their first innings, it looked like Australia were in the front seat but after some  brilliant bowling the tides were changed. Mohammed Shami got opener David Warner while Jasprit Bumrah got Mitchell Marsh and Steve Smith.
