India star paceman Mohammed Shami lambasted ex-Pakistani cricketer Hasan Raza after he claimed that the reason behind the Indian Cricket Team‘s formidable performance is that the bowlers are getting different balls. Raza also feels India is manipulating technology whenever DRS is taken.

Pakistani great Wasim Akram did not mince his words and slammed Raza for such a remark, saying that Raza is not just embarrassing himself but all the Pakistani ex-cricketers. Shami, on Wednesday (November 8), took to Instagram Story and strongly reacted to Raza’s allegations and said that the ex-Pakistani doesn’t even trust Akram’s words.

Please have some shame. Focus on the game rather than talking rubbish. Enjoy and chill; this is the ICC Cricket World Cup, not a local tournament. Wasim Akram explained, but still, hahahahahahaha. You do not trust your own Wasim Akram. This person is busy praising himself. Just like a wow.
Shami wrote on his Instagram Story.

The Men in Green are yet to lose a match in this World Cup. They started their campaign with a win over Australia and went on to defeat the rest of the teams except the Netherlands. Rohit Sharma and Co. will lock horns with the Dutchmen on Sunday (November 12) in Bengaluru, which will also be their last group-stage match. India have already qualified for the semi-finals.

Mohammed Shami has bagged two fifers in the World Cup

Mohammed Shami was not a part of the playing XI during India’s first three matches of the 2023 ODI World Cup. To have a batting depth, the management opted to include Shardul Thakur and bench Shami.

But Hardik Pandya’s injury during the Bangladesh match prompted the management to include Shami again. In the first match itself, against New Zealand, Shami bagged a fifer for 54 runs followed by a four-fer for 22 runs against England.

Then, against Sri Lanka, he scalped five wickets again for 18 runs. The 33-year-old then picked up two wickets for 18 runs during India’s previous match against South Africa. In total, Shami has bagged 16 wickets in four matches.
