When Australia were on the brink of a humiliating defeat to Afghanistan, Maxwell entered the crease and before anyone could know what was happening, the Big Show single-handedly guided his team to victory with his unbeaten double century on Tuesday (November 7) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
After Afghanistan posted 291/5, their bowlers started wreaking havoc as wickets fell like a pack of cards. Before anyone could grasp what was happening, Australia lost seven wickets for just 91 runs within 19 overs.
