“Absolute carnage”- DC’s David Warner goes beast mode against Hyderabad; slams record-breaking half century

Delhi Capitals’ opener David Warner displayed his dangerous form by smacking a brilliant 92 runs against his former team Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday, May 5 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. DC then were able to add a huge total of 208 runs for SRH.
Choosing to bowl first, SRH could get only three wickets because on the opponent’s side David Warner and Rovman Powell were attacking every SRH bowler.

David Warner slams most 50s in T20 history, surpasses Chris Gayle
It wasn’t easy for the bowlers to dismiss the dangerous Australian David Warner as he played an incredible innings today with his unbeaten 92 runs in 58 deliveries. His power hitting includes 12 fours and 3 sixes with a brilliant strike rate of 158.62. Warner now reached a milestone by becoming the first cricketer to slam most 50s in T20 history.
On the other end when DC’s innings were heading towards the end, Rovman Powell displayed his Caribbean power by smacking 3 fours and 6 sixes while scoring 67 in 35 deliveries. He slammed his 50 in 30 balls. Among the SRH bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sean Abbott, and Shreyas Gopal picked one wicket each.
He surpassed West Indian legend Chris Gayle for most number of 50s in the shortest format of the game with his 89th half-century. Chris Gayle has 88 T20 half-centuries to his name and he is followed by Virat Kohli (77), Aaron Finch (70), and Rohit Sharma (69).
