In the match between England and India, the former set a target of a massive 215/8 for the visitor on July 10 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Dawid Malan and Liam Livingstone’s aggressive knocks saved England from scoring just paltry runs like they did in the previous T20Is.

England had won the toss and opted to bat first this time. They started their innings with Jos Buttler and Jason Roy but both of the got out after scoring some runs. Roy had scored 27 runs off 26 balls while Buttler scored 18 runs in nine balls. Umran Malik dimissed Roy while Buttler fell prey to Avesh Khan’s short ball.

Buttler didn’t score a good run against India in the 3rd T20I, he played a poot shot which dimissed him.

At the crease was Dawid Malan who went on to play aggressive knock. He smashed six four and five sixes to score 77 runs off just 39 balls at a strike rate of 197.44 before Ravi Bishnoi sent him back. Bishoni bowled around leg stump with a googly and Malan looked to slog-sweep but ended up getting a top edge. The ball had gone up in the air and it was straight above the stumps and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant did no mistake.

Livinstone had scored an unbeaten 42 runs off 29 balls with four sixes. Harry Brook scored 19 runs off nine balls while Chris Jordan scored 11 runs off three balls.

From the Indian bowlers, Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel had dismissed two wickets while Avesh Khan, Umran Malik had scalped one wicket each.
