“DC back to original form”- Twitter reacts as Delhi Capitals fail to emulate their high-octane performance in front of Mumbai Indians
They just couldn't find time to settle because Ishaque struck in the second over. Soon one by one, those destructive batters took a long walk back to the dugout.

DC vs MI
Delhi Capitals sure were all guns blazing in the previous two matches they played at the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL). They put on such massive scores and later, crushed the opposition. But this time, when they faced Mumbai Indians, they were struggling to even reach the three-figure mark. Meg Lanning and co. got skittled out for a mere 105 runs in 19 overs on Thursday (March 9) at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
Meg Lanning slammed two half-centuries in the previous games, but failed to reach the 50-run mark by seven runs. Only she played a fighting knock against the MI bowlers. By smashing five boundaries, she scored a slow 43 runs off 41 balls before becoming a victim of Saikia Ishaque.
On the last ball of the 13th over, Ishaque delivered it full on off stump, and Lanning tried to push it but failed to connect the ball properly and it fell straight to the hands of skipper Harmanpreet Kaur at covers. After her wicket, half of the DC batters headed back to the pavilion. Amongst the bowlers, Ishaque, Issy Wong, and Hayley Matthews scalped three wickets each.
