Devon Conway would have completed his first century in this season had Khaleel Ahmed didn’t get rid of the dangerous man. A slower delivery was bowled on a good length and over the middle stump. Conway looked tired and shuffled and looked to pull it over the fine leg but got a faint edge on it.

DC wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant then flied to his right and took a good catch. Conway had scored 87 off 48 balls with 7 fours and 5 sixes. After Conway’s dismissal, CSK started losing quick wickets. Shubham Dube who was playing brilliantly for 32 off 19 was dismissed by Mitchell Marsh ball in the next over after Conway’s dismissal.

Will CSK defend the huge score?

MS Dhoni

But MS Dhoni once again attacked right after entering on the field. He smashed 21 off 8 balls with four and 2 sixes. When at the other end, wickets kept falling, Dhoni stayed on the crease and helped CSK cross the 200-run mark.

This is for the fourth time that CSK were able to get past the double century score. At last, they set a target of 209 for the Delhi Capitals. It will be interesting to see if they will be successful in defending the target or not, because, in the previous few games, the Men in Yellow lost the match even after scoring the huge runs.
