Devon Conway, Chennai Super Kings’ and New Zealand batter has recently left the bio-bubble last week to marry his long-term girlfriend, Kim Watson. Devon Conway was born and brought up in South Africa before going to New Zealand and that’s why he went to his birth country to tie the note with his friends and family on Saturday.

The two win they had are against Royal Challengers Bangalore but they have faced defeat of the next match against Gujarat Titans. CSK will face Punjab Kings on Monday.

Before Davon Conway’s wedding, CSK had thrown a big party for him which was attended by the players and the staffs. The franchise released videos of the party where every player could be seen wearing traditional Indian look.

The also dance which was started by Dwayne Bravo. Even MS Dhoni could be seen doing a little shimmy with the music. Devon Conway was signed by the franchise by 1 crore in the mega auction last year. He made his debut against Kolkata Night Riders for three runs. He replaced Moeen Ali in the same game because of Ali’s visa issues. CSK have lost 5 matches out of 8.

Meanwhile Adam Milne has sustained injuries and his place will be taken by the young pacer- Matheesha Pathirana. Due to his unique bowling actions, fans have started comparing him with that of legendary cricketer Lasith Malinga. Pathirana will play in his place for the rest of CSK’s matches.

“People have started comparing my bowling action with Malinga. Actually, Malinga is a legend; not only to me but to all the worldwide cricket fans. I’d like to walk in his steps and be a cricketer like him one day,” said Pathirana in a interview conducted in 2019.
