The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a statement regarding false advertisements. The advertisements claimed that youngsters would need to pay some money to get admission into the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
The BCCI stated that only contracted players, the players in the targeted group, and those recommended by the state associations can use the facilities provided at the NCA.

The BCCI wishes to clarify that it does not charge any money from cricketers to use its facility. The BCCI has set its protocols, and entry into the NCA is a merit-based process.BCCI added

What is the NCA?
The NCA was established in 2000, and it is used for the development of youngsters as well as for the rehabilitation of injured players. Young players who are likely to make their debut for the Indian team also get help at the NCA.
The NCA was founded by Raj Singh Dungarpur, the former BCCI president. Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman is the director of NCA at present. He has been in charge of the NCA since 2021. Before him, India head coach Rahul Dravid used to do the job.
In 2022, the then BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah announced of a new training facility near the Bengaluru airport. The BCCI also collaborated with Cricket Australia and England Cricket Board for the creation of the new structure.
