Cricket will be played at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics Games as per a report published by The Guardian. The report stated that multiple sources confirmed to the website that cricket, as well as flag football, baseball, and softball, will be included in the Olympics.
The report further stated that T20 cricket for both men and women is likely to be played in the Olympics. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) wants to tap into India’s population and vast resources but at the same time, it wasn’t easy for the IOC to negotiate with the LA organizing committee.
Cricket was played just once in the Olympics, in Paris, in 1900. England and France faced each other for the gold medal match.
