Just three balls after the match resumed after a rain disturbance, Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled one of the best balls of his spell so far. Bowled on the fuller length and managed to break through Rohit’s defense and hit the top of off. Rohit departed after scoring only 11 runs off 22 balls.
In the first 4 overs, India managed to score only 15 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah were bowling in tandem, with each ball threatening the Indian batsmen. Shubhman Gill and Rohit Sharma managed to keep their wickets, but after the rain break, Shaheen got the first wicket after a brilliant delivery.
Virat Kohli came in to bat and scored only 4 runs before getting bowled by Shaheen. Shreyas Iyer on his comeback had a good start, he pulled the ball right in the hands of Fakhar Zaman.

After Rohit got bowled, fans on X were quick to talk about the dismissal. Many fans said the ball was unplayable and defended the captain, while the others were criticising and trolling him. Many said this was bound to happen due to his terrible form and the others said he was unfit to captain the Indian side.
