“Such a hypocrite person”- Fans slam Ramiz Raja as he travels to India months after threatening to BOYCOTT the World Cup

Ramiz Raja had threatened to not send the Pakistan Team to India for the 2023 World Cup as India were not sending their team to Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup.

Just a few months ago, Ramiz Raja was the president of the Pakistan Cricket Board. After 15 years they had gotten the hosting rights of the Asia Cup. But India refused to travel to Pakistan for the tournament and asked for the competition to be shifted. 

Ramiz Raja then threatened to not send the Pakistan Cricket team to India to participate in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup. Sadly for Ramiz Raja, India did not travel to Pakistan, Pakistan is currently in India competing for the World Cup and he was also removed from his post of chairman of the PCB in December 2022.

The 2023 Asia Cup was finally played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Pakistan hosted 4 matches out of 13, while Sri Lanka hosted the remaining matches. Pakistan played only 2 matches in Pakistan, while India played all their matches in Sri Lanka. India ended up winning the tournament as well, with Pakistan getting knocked out of the Super 4 stage. 

Ramiz Raja is currently in India, working as a presenter for Star Sports in their coverage of the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup. He was present in Hyderabad for both of Pakistan’s warm up matches and their first match of the tournament.

Fans call Ramiz Raja a hypocrite for working in India 

Fans from both sides of the border were trolling Ramiz Raja after he decided to work in India despite threatening the boycott. Many fans found the entire situation hilarious. Ramiz Raja used to work in the Indian Premier League as well. In an interview with Youtuber Sawera Pasha, he said the IPL made him a successful commentator.

Ramiz Raja has been called spineless, a hypocrite and a wicked mind for working in India. Fans also called him money hungry as he agreed to work in India.
