Former India cricketer Praveen Kumar survived a horrific car crash while he was on his way to dropping his nephew to school. The 36-year-old who hails from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh did not suffer any major injuries but his car was severely damaged, as per Kumar.
Praveen Kumar thanked god for saving his life despite his car getting hit by a speeding truck. Notably, a few months back, India’s wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant met a fatal car accident and is still recovering from the injuries sustained. Nevertheless, Kumar has not suffered any major injury.
“It could have been a lot worse. By the grace of god, we are okay and I am talking to you. I had gone to drop my nephew but a massive truck hit my car from behind around 9:30 pm. Thank God it was a big car, else there could have been injuries,” Kumar was quoted saying by PTI. “I initially thought just the bumper would be broken but the car is badly damaged.”
