Krunal Pandya is no more a part of the Mumbai Indians franchise in the Indian Premier League. But he still shares great bonds with Kieron Pollard who still is a part of MI.

Krunal Pandya stars in thrilling tie in Royal London Cup

Krunal displayed his all-round performance in the Royal London Cup one-day tournament for Warwickshire. His side tied a thrilling match against Surrey on August 7, at the Oval.

Warwickshire captain Will Rhodes won the toss and chose to bat first. They posted 293/5 in their alloted 50 overs.

Opener Rob Yates started his team’s innings well with his half-century knock. He scored 54 runs while their wicket keeper Michael Burgess scored 93 runs off 78 balls which included nine fours and two sixes.

Krunal then played strokes and added some more runs. He scored 74 runs with five fours and two sixes.

Surrey replied with Nico Reifer scoring 53 runs and Nick Kimber with his 84 runs off 51 balls which included six fours and six sixes. Krunal then showed his bowling skills and helped his team by dismissing Kimber at a crucial point.

But Matt Dunn’s 34 runs then helped Surrey tie the match but they were bowled out for 293 runs in the penultimate over.
