All the records Yashsasvi Jaiswal broke
During his unbeaten 214-run knock, Yashasvi Jaiswal hit 14 boundaries and 12 sixes, which is also the joint-most sixes in a single innings in the history of Test cricket. Former Pakistani pacer Wasim Akram had previously hit 12 sixes in an innings.
It was the youngster’s second consecutive double century in Test cricket, for he hit his maiden 200 in the second Test in Visakhapatnam. Jaiswal also became the first Indian to convert the first three tons to 150-plus scores in Test cricket.
