Gujrat Titans secure the place on top of the points table
Gujrat Titans secured their place on top of the points table with 20 and a game to go. Lucknow Super Giants’ loss to Rajasthan Royals means that Gujrat are set to finish IPL on top as no other team can amass 20 points. The race for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place is still on with as many as 7 teams involved.
Gujrat could use their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore to rest key players and give a chance to the youngsters. Rahmanullah Gurbaz could be well on his way to make his IPL debut in place of Mathew wad who hasn’t impressed in the IPL this year. Having featured in as many as 20 T20 matches for Afghanistan, the GT camp and Hardik Pandya could be tempted to see how Rahmanullah Gurbaz performs as the youngster could be a future asset for the team.
