Virat Kohli recently crossed 200 million followers on Instagram, making him the first Indian with this huge fan following. He has over 49 million followers on Facebook and over 48 million on Twitter. The former captain had also became the first Asian last year to hit the 150 million mark on Instagram.
When it comes to followers count, star footballer Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are ahead of him in the sports category. Ronalso has 451 million followers while Messi has 334 million followers. Virat Kohli also surpassed Brazilian football star Neymar Jr by becoming the third most followed active sportsperson on Instagram. Virat Kohli had also shared a video to show the followers count. Vikas Kohli hits back a troll
Virat Kohli’s older brother Vikas Kohli has 134,000 followers on Instagram and is a part of the One8 brand. This is just a small count in compared to his brother’s followers. A fan had commented on his post and insulted him that Vikas doesn’t even have one million followers.
Vikas Kohli was unhappy about it and he lectured the user to do something productive in his life. Fans praise and troll famous people and they ususally get happier if the personality replies back. The same thing happened in this case. The fan simply thanked Vikas for his reply.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is given rest ahead of a busy schedule. He was struggled a lot in recent matches and had an forgettable IPL 2022. He just scored a mere 341 runs and his best- 73 off 54 came against Gujarat Titans which also helped Royal Challengers Bangalore qualify for the playoffs.
