Hardik Pandya’s captaincy stint with Mumbai Indians has not started well. In the three matches he has captained, he has failed to win a single one of them. With their next game a few days away, the MI captain decided show his devotional side. 

Ever since becoming MI captain, Hardik Pandya has lost each match. The all-rounder has already lost to his old side Gujarat Titans, conceded the highest score in IPL history, and lost his first home match. Along with that, Pandya has been subjected to abuse by fans everywhere ever since he replaced Rohit Sharma as MI captain

Pandya has now traveled to the Somnath Temple in Veraval, Gujarat. In a video that has now gone viral, the all-rounder was offering prayers to the Shivling in the Temple. 

Michael Clarke said Hardik Pandya wouldn’t let booing get to him

Michael Clarke recently arrived in India to begin his media duties for the Indian Premier League. The former Australian captain, who now works as a commentator, spoke about his recent conversation with Hardik Pandya. Clarke revealed that Pandya said he wouldn’t let the booing get to him.

It doesn't help when your team is not performing. I spoke to Hardik Pandya when I got over here and he seems like he is going fine. He's a really confident sort of a person. He won't allow this to get to him but he does need to get this team winning games of cricket.

Mumbai Indians now play on 7th April at home. They host the Delhi Capitals, who have only won one game so far. It is an afternoon match, with the game starting at 3:30 pm.
