Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has not featured in competitive cricket since injuring his ankle in the 2023 ODI World Cup match against Bangladesh. He is currently recovering from the injury but often uploads workout videos on his Instagram.
On Wednesday (January 31), Pandya revealed the workout he wanted to do for the day. On a whiteboard, a list of the exercises was written in blue ink.
These workouts include a “15 min brisk walk“, “tempo breathing“, a 15-second sprint on the bike, and other workouts which are to be done for 15 seconds. After reading the list, one can guess that Pandya was doing a circuit training workout.

There were speculations about Pandya’s comeback ahead of the Afghanistan T20I series earlier in January, but the recovery process made him wait a bit longer. The 30-year-old has not played any matches yet but is expected to take part in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Hardik Pandya will captain Mumbai Indians in the 2024 IPL
If everything goes well for Hardik Pandya regarding his recovery from the injury, he will play in the 2024 IPL for Mumbai Indians (MI). MI will be captained by Pandya because he has now succeeded Rohit Sharma as the skipper.
Last year, just a couple of days before the 2024 IPL auction, MI announced Pandya as their captain. This happened after the successful all-cash trade between MI and Gujarat Titans (GT), the team Pandya led to victory in its inaugural season in 2022, and to the final again, in 2023.
If Pandya’s move to MI did not surprise the fans much, his becoming the new skipper led to a massive uproar. Under Sharma, MI lifted five trophies, so his removal as the skipper did not go down well with the fans.
