India’s stand-in captain for third ODI against the West Indies, Hardik Pandya became a target of trolls as he made some bizarre comments during the toss. As Pandya was reminded by the presenter that if India lose the third ODI as well, it will be for the first time in 17 years that West Indies will win a bilateral ODI series against the Men in Blue, he said it is fine as it would be unique.

“India haven’t lost a bilateral ODI series in more than a decade Vs WI. You don’t want to be the captain to break the trend!” said the presenter at the toss. To this, Pandya said, “It’s okay to be unique.”
