India’s stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya slammed West Indies Cricket board for their failure to make basic arrangements for Team India. Pandya’s comments came after India’s series victory following the third ODI at the Brian Cricket Stadium in Tarouba on Tuesday (August 1).
At the post-match presentation, Pandya was asked by former West Indies opener turned renowned commentator Daren Ganga about the facilities in the stadium. Pandya first praised the stadium, calling it one of the nicest grounds India has played, before expressing that how he wants things to be better the next time, including the traveling arrangements.
The 29-year-old also feels there were some problems last year also when the team toured West Indies. He asked the West Indies Cricket Board to avoid ignoring such basic necessities in the future.
“I think it’s time for West Indies Cricket to take note of it and make sure that when a team travels…We don’t ask for luxury but we need some basic necessities taken care of,” Pandya said.
