After Harmanpreet Kaur’s viral response to the Bangladeshi presenter who mistakenly addressed her as Jemimah Rodrigues during the post-match presentation during the 2nd ODI, another one of Kaur’s reactions is going viral.
Indian Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur was not happy with the on-field umpire signaling her out in the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh. Kaur was trapped in front of the wicket by spinner Nahida Akter and was adjudged out by the on-field umpire. India were 160/3 in 33.4 overs while chasing a target of 226 when she was given out.
Harmanpreet Kaur was not satisfied with the decision at all and smashed her bat against the stumps in anger. She also pointed at the umpire while hurling words in anger. Her reaction to the dismissal was clearly out of bounds.
During the post-match presentation, talking about her dismissal, she said, “The kind of umpiring that was happening we were very surprised – the next time we come to Bangladesh we will make sure we have to deal with this type of umpiring & prepare ourselves”.
Take a look at her reaction.
Fans disapprove of Harmanpreet Kaur’s behavior

The method used by Harmanpreet Kaur to express her unhappiness about her dismissal did not sit well with the fans. While they stuck by her during the 2nd ODI’s wrong name fiasco by the presenter, they criticized the Indian captain for her behavior in the 3rd ODI.
Some fans also believed that the umpiring has been biased from the very first ODI and her reaction was justified. Take a look at some of the reactions.
The 3rd ODI between India and Bangladesh was tied and the three-match ODI series was also tied between the two teams. Harmanpreet Kaur’s fuming reaction to her dismissal was addressed by her in the post-match presentation but she finds it pathetic and blames the umpires for not being up to the mark with their decisions.
