He could make a poultry farm: Fans react as Suryakumar Yadav gets out for a golden duck in DC vs MI
Not only in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Surya has been struggling at the international level too.
Nothing seems to be going Suryakumar Yadav’s way as of late. After sustaining an injury while trying to take a catch, the Mumbai Indians batter got out for a golden duck against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Tuesday. After Tilak Varma was dismissed by Mukesh Kumar, Yadav walked out to bat but only to hand a straightforward catch to Kuldeep Yadav at fine leg.
Mukesh Kumar welcomed Surya with a short delivery around his shoulders. The batter, meanwhile, tried to take on the short ball and played a pull shot. However, he could not time his shot well enough and Kuldeep Yadav timed his jump to perfection to grab a good catch at the fine leg boundary.
Surya looked disgruntled after he failed to even open his account. Meanwhile, fans took a dig at the world’s No.1 T20I batter. While some mocked the batter for his consistent failures, some wished luck to Surya to bounce back.

Fourth duck for Surya in 26 days
Not only in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Surya has been struggling at the international level too. It all started with SKY getting out for a golden duck to Mitchell Starc in the first ODI on 17 March at the Wankhede Stadium. The batter could not recover from that golden duck and went on to register two more in the following games.
Now, as IPL 2023 got underway, SKY was expected to bounce back but it seems the Maharashtra cricketer has not regained confidence yet. SKY has managed to score 16 runs in three innings so far.
