Yuzvendra Chahal has enjoyed his best ever IPL season this year with 26 wickets in 16 games. He is the joint highest wicket taker with RCB’s Wainindu Hasaranga. However, with the finals tonight, Chahal could keep the Purple Cap all to himself by taking at least one wicket. Yuzvendra Chahal has impressed many pundits including former India spinner, Harbhajan Singh.
Rajasthan Royals play the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi stadium for the finals of IPL 2022. In the previous two occasions the two sides have played, Gujarat have always come out on top, hence, they do carry an edge over Rajasthan. However, Rajasthan have played once at the venue where Gujarat will play there for the first time this season. Hence, that bit of experience will come in handy for RR.

Speaking to Sportskeeda, Bhajji said, “Yuzvendra Chahal is the Jos Buttler of the bowling department. He has won matches with his bowling performances. In my opinion, he is the only slow bowler in the IPL who is bowling like a spinner. He is bowling slowly in the air, spinning the ball and enticing the batters to come out of the crease and go after him. Other spinners are bowling quick and are spinners for namesake. Spinners are supposed to spin the ball. That’s where you will get wickets.”
Harbhajan also spoke about Prasidh Krishna saying that every national team would love to have the talented pacer in their squad. He also credited Rajasthan Royals for the way they have nurtured their youngsters this season. The Royals will need all their players to perform at the top level if they are to beat Gujarat Titans and make it two IPL titles.
