While Virat Kohli is known for his great batting skills, he is also known in India for being a style icon. He has been seen trying out different haircuts throughout his career which fans try to copy.
For a long time, Virat Kohli has been visiting celebrity hairdresser Aalim Hakim. Hakim is one of the most sought out hairdressers by popular personalities like Kohli, MS Dhoni, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan and many famous celebrities. He was recently interviewed by Brut India, where he revealed he charged a bombshell for each haircut.

In the interview, he spoke about his relationship with Indian stars Kohli andDhoni. He revealed they decided to do “something cool” and different with the IPL coming up. Hakim spoke in detail about Kohli’s new mullet hairstyle ahead of the IPL, and called his aesthetic strong when it comes to fashion. He was also happy when the hairstyle went viral, excited with the number of shares and views it got.
When he spoke about Dhoni, he said he saw the former captain as a Hollywood star. Hakim said he always requests the CSK star for some videos after any haircut to share on his social media.
Ian Bishop apologizes for praising Virat Kohli’s innings
On 6th April, Virat Kohli scored the first century of the 2024 IPL, taking 67 balls to score the ton. He was criticized by fans for his innings, calling it a slow knock and claiming it hurt the team. The criticisms increased as Jos Buttler smashed a ton in the 2nd innings, taking 58 balls.

Kohli had earlier taken 39 balls to score his fifty, which irked many fans. As he scored his fifty, commentator Ian Bishop said Kohli took just 39 balls to score a fifty. A fan called him out on X for the statement, saying he was disappointed. Bishop, seeing the criticism, apologized to the fan, claiming he will take the “L”.
Although he was called out by that one fan, many praised him for the efforts he puts into his job as a commentator. They praised him for researching about the players, adding that no other commentator takes their jobs as seriously as the West Indian.
