ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Schedule: Check Australia’s full fixture, venues, dates, and more

The schedule for the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup has been announced on Tuesday (June 27). For the first time, India will be the independent host of the prestigious tournament, having co-hosted it back in 1987, 1996, and 2011 alongside Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
The showpiece event will kick start on October 5, with the clash between last year’s finalists, England and New Zealand, at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The semifinals will be held on November 15 and November 16, while the final is on November 19. There are reserve days for the semifinals and final only.
A total of 10 teams will participate in the World Cup and will play against each other once as per the round-robin format. The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals. These league matches will be played across 45 days.
ODI World Cup’s most successful team, Australia, will begin their campaign on October 8 against India at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Their last match in the league stage will be against Bangladesh on November 11.

Pat Cummins and Co. will be playing their matches across eight venues- Chennai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Delhi, Dharamshala, Pune, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. They won’t be playing their league matches in Kolkata and Hyderabad.
