The Netherlands will be appearing in their fifth ODI World Cup tournament in 2023. They will commence their campaign in the 2023 edition on October 6 by locking horns with Pakistan at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Prior to the 2023 ODI World Cup, the Netherlands participated in 1996, 2003, 2007, and 2011. They couldn’t make it further past the group stage in all their appearances.

The Dutch players qualified for the tournament this year after reaching the final of the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier held in Zimbabwe. They won three of the five matches to receive six points. In the final, they were defeated by Sri Lanka.

The 2023 ODI World Cup starts on October 5, and the final is scheduled for November 19. A total of 48 matches will be played across 10 venues in India.

India will be the sole host for the competition for the first time. In the tournament opener, defending champions England led by Jos Buttler will square off against last edition’s runners-up New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
