The eagerly anticipated ODI World Cup 2023 is scheduled to begin on October 5th. At Ahmedabad’s iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, the defending champions England will face New Zealand in the tournament’s opening match. This  spectacular event will feature a total of 48 matches, including 45 group-stage contests, two semi-finals, and the final championship match.

This tournament will be held in India, prompting cricket enthusiasts to purchase tickets in order to witness their heroes in action. Some of these players may be competing in their final World Cup. Depending on the match and venue, ticket prices will range from INR 750 to INR 5,000. The semi-finals and the championship game are anticipated to command even higher prices due to the high demand surrounding these crucial matches.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have chosen ten lavish venues to host this event. These locations include Bengaluru,  Pune, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Dharamshala, and Kolkata. In addition, warm-up matches will be played at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati and the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram from September 29 to October 3.

How to book tickets offline and online for the ODI World Cup 2023?

On October 5, the defending champions England will face New Zealand in the opening match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The 2023 ODI World Cup ticket prices will be available both offline and online. For the offline method, supporters must visit the stadium’s ticket counters, which will open closer to the beginning dates of respective matches. The BCCI announced on August 23 that ‘BookMyShow‘ would be the official ticketing partner, allowing supporters to book their tickets online.

Steps for ticket booking online via BookMyShow:

Step 1: First, create an account on BookMyShow.

Step 2: Select the venue and match for the booking.

Step 3: Make the payment after selecting the desired mode of payment.

Step 4: Secure the notification received via SMS and email regarding the confirmation of the tickets.
